• A 2-day training course intended primarily for Marine Engineers, Ship Superintendents and Purchasing personnel.

 Objective:

• Participants will gain knowledge and understanding on the technical aspects of Marine Fuels including its commercial and environmental impacts. They will learn the most recent Regulations in Ship Emission Control and their impact on ship operation including the challenges of using Low Sulfur Fuels.

• Fuel cost impact on shipping business and environment
• Fuel qualities and properties and their significance
• Onboard Fuel pre-treatment and control i.e. Purification, Filtration, Viscosity Control, etc.
• Bunkering, Fuel Sampling, Analysis and Interpretation of Test Results
• Current Regulation on Fuels and Emission i.e. Sulfur
• Low Sulfur Fuel,  Emission Control Regulation and their Challenges.
